Weezer Robot Concert Poster

A throwback to 1994, this vintage Weezer concert poster highlights what must have been a killer show at Denver, Colorado’s The Ogden Theater on August 4th. With their infamous self-titled Blue Album released just a couple months earlier, this set would have featured fresh takes on the Weezer classics: ‘Say It Ain’t So’ and ‘Buddy Holly’.

The print design itself is reminiscent of the concert poster movement in the 90’s. These pieces of art would first, get fans to the venue, but then commemorate the night as an artistic souvenir that captures a show’s spirit. Using Weezer’s iconic color as a base, this piece flows blue with a complimentary orange touch. The robot Rivers Cuomo and accompanying circuitry are a nod to Weezer’s nerdy persona and calculated approach to songwriting.
