Challenge

Establish a brand identity for Colorado Springs real estate agent, Sean Neary. A former United States Army Staff Sergeant, Sean knows what it takes to accomplish the mission and close on his clients’ dream homes. He proudly presents himself as “the hardest working realtor” in the Springs; his brand elements must work as hard as he does.

Approach

A sample shiny foil business card set the stage for our creative brief. Many Veterans are rough around the edges, not Sean, whose prevailing self-description was “classy”, maybe even fancy. We sought after a look that would present Sean as a high-end-luxury realtor. Avoiding some of the more frivolous concepts and all too often used “realtor roof”, we crafted a custom serif wordmark forward of a key, symbolic of the final transaction between Sean and his clients.

Results

Sean was sold as soon as he saw his monogram “SN” mocked up on print materials. The standard client response “great, but can you… ”, was replaced by “how soon can I get my business cards?”. Sean continues to outperform his peers with a brand that matches his high level of effort.
