It’s never too late to change your mind.
And the results turned out great! Usually this many concepts dilutes the quality of the I recently revisited this icon from a few back, and it was immediately obvious what needed to change. Our previous design committed itself to perfect geometry, but in doing so, created some real harsh corners that stand out. The new design is tweaked for a smoother look to the eye, perfect geometry disregarded.
