Instructor Banjo Reel

This is Banjo.

I’m really excited to showcase a new project with Banjo, an instructor at the United States Truck Driving School in Fountain, Colorado. Banjo is that enthusiastic teacher you never forget. Memorable phrases like “Make 7th your b*tch” and “7th over second, baby” have turned him into a TikTok icon for the truck driving community.

Banjo came to the design table with a ton of great content. Together, we turned his likeness and signature smile into a series of graphics that pop.

And designers know, recreating the portrait of a real person is no simple task. I used a couple AI generated images as a starting point, and this reel shows that evolution bit by bit.
